Video: Olive Oil

We continue with our series giving you a sneak preview of our Theology of the Table TV show.

Provence

Olive oil comes from that tiny little bitty black fruit, the olive. It grows all over the Mediterranean Sea and now also in California. Even though they bitter fruits, they are used in many Mediterranean dishes once they are pressed and cured. Olives and olive oil play a big part in Mediterranean cuisine. In the summer all kitchens in Provence, France are perfumed with ratatouille, one of the many tasty dishes that can be made using the olive oil.
